To an old friend…

“Switching between dreams, I saw you.” (22nd Jan 2012, 0200 hours)

If pain and loss were such important ingredients of the journey, why not celebrate them? “Peaceful warrior” has a line that says “it’s never about the destination, it’s the journey that matters”. In retrospection, we had an amazing journey!

I believe there’s a part of each one of us in another, that we are connected (and connected well) in a strange cosmic manner (which could, I hope be proven by some complex “Einstein theory”… of which I know little :P ). That boundaries are only physical and all feelings are born out of die into love. Maybe that’s exactly why someone’s reading this. And when I love someone, I love you. When the neighborhood dogs climb on me and express their love, I am certain you feel a part of it too.

So the next time there’s a warm feeling rising in your heart for no reason whatsoever, know that the world loves and survives on it.

For the record: “you” in the letter refers TimTim (1993-2002), my first pet, first friend. I’ll always love you, more than anything. Rest In Peace.
